"Honestly, there is absolutely nothing to fault this place. Every detail is thought of, the design of the whole hotel is gorgeous, food exceptional and staff so friendly and helpful. The worst bit...leaving... And potentially ruining any future hotel experience because this place sets the bar v high!"

Wonderful views for the pool and bar area-stunning.Do wander into the town and around the beautiful gardens. Friendly, helpful staff-booked us a taxi for early airport run, with a breakfast bag. Even went to the trouble of prepping us coffees at 5am. We felt thoroughly spoilt."

"Verdelago is a great 5-star resort in the Algarve, away from tourists and tourist traps. It is a vast resort with many things to do. However, potential guests should be aware it is not fully-open. The resort is under construction even though you would not really notice it. They have done a fabulous and mindful job in protected guests from this.
