"We had a wonderful stay at this great villa which is only a short drive from the airport, but provides a quiet and beautiful location. For mid-to-late October, we were blessed with the weather, which only enhanced the beauty of the place and its surroundings. There are restaurants and amenities that are only a short drive away, so there's plenty still to see and do. Joao was an excellent host and communication with him was excellent. If I can guarantee the weather, I'll certainly be back!"

"On arriving to the property we were met by Sara, she was super friendly and professional. We were shown around the property which was absoutley stunning, and our kids just loved that they had a games room and a cinema room. The pool and tennis courts made our stay even better "

"Property was still being prepared 2hours late Property was non smoking but stank of smoke (previous guests?, cleaners?) Pool was full of flies so had to clean myself. Marble surface in the kitchen was cracked and we were told no to use it, so didn’t have a functioning kitchen for the visit. Only bedding was a thin blanket or a stained duvet without a cover so had to but our own bedding on arrival. "Our family of 6 adults recently stay at Villa Murta for 3 weeks in May24 and were very pleased with our decision to stay here. The villa was very large and fit our family well. We enjoyed the pool and the pool table and the location to Faro and surrounding area was easy to access. The road leading to the villa is very narrow so a smaller vehicle is recommended. The location to the closest Lidl and Continente grocery stores in Sao Bras de Alportel was very convenient. Thank you Villa Murta...

"Miriam’s home couldn’t be more beautiful. Had everything you could want and more. Only drawback is that it is a bit of a drive to many of the Algarve towns and Altura, while charming and cute, did not offer much to do. This is not a complaint, just something to consider if you are looking for more liveliness. Mirian was wonderful and very accommodating. Truly loved this property and would gladly go back if the opportunity presented itself. Highly recommended!"

"We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks in August 2024. The villa was perfect for 2 families, plenty of space for everyone individually but also to all be together. The pool was a good size for the group (5 adults and 5 kids) and all the things we needed, plus extras, were there for us to use. Location was great, 5 mins to lovely beach and a few beach bars, 5 mins the other way a shop and cafe with all essentials but also lovely food and fresh pastries at a great price! "We stayed as a party of 9 (4 adults, 4 teens and a 10 year old). I think it’s useful for other potential guests to know the following, based on our experience: 1. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are only suitable for small children or anyone under 3ft! They are basically loft rooms, no windows, I lost track of the number of times we banged our heads on the roof and trying to make the beds when you can’t stand up is difficult. 2. The location of the property is remote. The plot to the right...

"Spectacular villa with beautiful outside space, pool and equipped with everything you need. When my wife needed a little plaster for her heel- it was there. I had a fly bite- antiseptic spray was there. A super relaxing experience. Lovely memories will stay with us. Only downside is that we don't own it!"

"This is an outstanding property and exactly as advertised. The house is spacious, ultra clean and comfortable; nothing is lacking. The pool was great and much needed during the hot summer. The location is good; in a nice neighborhood that it is a little “off the beaten track” but pretty easy with a car. The hosts and house manager are easy to comunicate with. Good job all round."

"What an amazing property! I. Cannot put into words how wonderful our stay was. Starting with the front desk, to mention a name, Marta was great to us, she provided it all the information that we requested regarding restaurants, activities and transportation around the area. But in general ALL the staff is great, always willing to help (we even borrowed an umbrella from one of the nice ladies). If you do not have a car the train station and bus stations are just around de corner.. in the morning you woke up with the smell of fresh baked bread and the breakfast is really good with some tasty little pastais de nata. We will stay there again without hesitation! We are looking forward for our next stay!"
