As many guests have mentioned, you can hear noise from other rooms, but I brought earplugs and had no issues. The elevator, stairs, and rooms are quite small, but given that it's an old building, this wasn’t surprising. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options, though the price felt a bit high. The staff was accomodating. Would recommend. As a solo traveler, my room was very small but tolerable."

"A Paris favourite but the upgrading works put a tiny toilet next to the bed sharing the intimacy of the lavatory with you when your partner used it. A dreadful error in design which could spoil an excellent hotel. The room - overlooking the Abbey - was otherwise splendid, but the toilet will put me off next time. Put them in the bathroom not next to your pillow!"
