Great location with so many dining options close by. Easy to walk to your usual tourists spots. The staff were lovely however bear in mind that parisians like to smoke. Quite a few times we would go to the front desk & the staff member’s would be out the front having a cigarette. Also the hotel is old, so if you want something new & modern don’t come here. If you want something rustic with old world charm, this is for you!

I was very pleased with the experience especially the great service. When we checked in on our first room, we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness as it had stains on the rug and bed sheets, cracked sink, and other things. I had requested a new room and the receptionist told me they were full that night and I can come back in the morning to chose a different room. We stayed at the room for one night and returned to the receptionist the next day. They were very helpful and nice. Checked us to a much better room with nice view and beautiful interior. It was the same twin bedroom size but the atmosphere was so much better! Yes, it is quite old but it had so much beauty and history which is why I chose the hotel. The location was really great too. Food and shopping nearby was awesome and the hotel employees were friendly and helpful with everything! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would also come back here again!

The hallways, rooms, very dark. I think that was to hide the cleanliness. Checked in after 4, had to walk around piles of dirty laundry. The carpet in the rooms thread bare. Worst of all bedding was stained. Slept on top of bed. Would NOT recommend.

Very quaint * in the midfle of Paris. We were able to walk to most of our site or take the Big Bus to reach further areas of interests. I.e Arc de Triumph. Opera House. Incredible restaurants. But walked from hotel to Notre Dame cathedral. Louve the cadtle & Gardens of Maria de Medici. It was all magical

We were just one quick night, but Tony made it perfect. Travelling with kids is hard but it was the extra effort from Tony that finally made us feel like we were on a vacation. Also, we got to learn why the heir apparent is called the dauphin—great little bit of history.

Amazing location. So who cares if the AC is not freezing cold! Who cares if there's a stain on the carpet? Who cares if you have to go up 3 stairs because the elevator doesn't stop exactly in front of your room door? We don't... We will stay there again for sure. We had a laugh with the lady at the front desk the day we checked in, she was such a character.

This was a nice hotel for the price. Great location. And we got to eat my native Korean and Japanese food on the same street. Why I didn’t give it a 5 ranking was that Tony in charge on Sat night asked us without scruples that we had to pay for an extra stupid plastic card key which we needed because he only gave us one when it was me and my girlfriend fiance, and we had simply accidentally left the 1 key card in the room when we headed out for dinner Saturday night. It’s obvious that he was trying to steal from the hotel and me and forcing me to give him this in cash as tip. What nerve!! He was trying to cheat us and next morning mentioned it to Flaurin the manager on duty Sunday morning who was appalled as well. Just want to say that if it was not for this bad service the hotel and rest of staff in restaurant especially Nigeria. Lady were all very congenial. Thank you for a great stay except for the fraudster - I assume they will reprimand him - this is was completely unacceptable. Other than him I highly recommend the hotel for its location, price for value, and location location location ! Tres bien. Thanks, Oliver
