"First time staying at Mandarin Oriental in Shanghai, and what a great experience it was! Front desk staff, fast check in, consierge (forgot name of the Mr.) gave me all needed informations about the hotspots in city! Room, modern, clean and spacious with a nice view over the financial district and the river. Breakfast is diverse, Asian/European style. Gym area is superb, combined with 25m swimming pool, saunas, and massage facilities. Overall good value for the money! "

"Great accommodation from beginning to end. There was a line during check-in and the hotel staff brought me to another level to check in so I didn't have to wait. The rooms were spacious and maintained twice a day by the housekeepers. Overall it was a pleasant experience. "

"Fantastic hotel, within a small shopping mall area. Good breakfast with free take away coffee. Walkable to the metro which was super easy to use and zipped us to anywhere we needed to go quickly. The area was perfect as it was so central to the main sites, had loads of shopping near by, coffee shops moments outside the hotel as well as restaurants and shops for drnks and snacks. "During the two nights we stayed there, every night about 20 or more influencers would show up along with their friends/assistants. They would have their pictures taken in the lobby, in the bar area with the Christmas tree, etc. They outnumbered guests who actually paid and stayed there. The hotel turned a blind eye to them. I find this experience very unpleasant and not compatible with the price we paid to stay there. "
