"We booked the Royal Lily through Hotels.com rather than as part of a wider tour. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. I would strongly recommend travelling with Movenpick if you are visiting Egypt independently rather than as part of a tour. There are very few reviews for Movenpick Royal Lily so I'll try and give as much information as I can. Airport pick up We arranged a pick up via Movenpick, which meant we were on board and settled in by 10.30am. A bit pricey but worth...

"Our room was really spacious!! Could have been handicap accessible because it had that much space!! Staff was super friendly, welcoming and attentive! The property is huge, so you are able to call for a cart to come pick you up! We ate at the Asian restaurant which was okay! Lobby is always busy but I would say the grounds are pretty quiet. The pool with slide obviously attracts more kids than the one located closer to the lobby. You will need an outlet adapter. The hotel does have some but we weren't able to get them to work. Pro Tip* the outlet in the bathroom under the hair dryer works with a normal US plug (wink)"

"Our experience in the Historia cruise couldn’t have been better! The boat is modern and tastefully decorated. Spotless. The staff took the whole trip to another level. Everyone was extremely attentive, friendly and polite. Every detail was thought through. The food was top-notch! Every day, there was a different menu, executed perfectly. They were very punctual with the activities. It was an incredible and stress-free stay. Would recommend this to anyone. The tours they planned for us where VIP, allowing us to skip lines and enjoy locations with a great tour guide."
