"It's a very nice property and welcoming staff. The excursions to the Blue Lagoon cave and nearby snorkeling spots are fantastic. The only drawbacks are the property itself is on a beach with a rather murky reef with low visibility and the lighting inside the villas is poor. If you open the shades it gets too hot in the room and the electric lights in the room aren't strong enough. A skylight in each villa would make a big difference."

"The snorkeling at the resort is not good at all (don't believe the staff when they tell you to snorkel out front to the wharf or down at the point at the south end of Blue Lagoon Beach), so you have to spend money to go better places but it's only $30 fjd for a guided snorkel outing, you don't have to go far, just across the channel. Other resorts have good snorkeling off their beaches (see Naqalia resort). I heard that Barefoot Manta is the best, Blue Lagoon beach resort has good snorkeling too...

"The resort is fantastic if you are looking for a quiet on the beach stay. If you want luxurious accommodations this is not the place but it is very nice and comfortable for us. Walked out the front door to the ocean and reef snorkeling right there. Awesome. "

"Amazing family run business. The meals were delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free snorkeling gear and kayaks. The property was very quiet and a great way to recharge and start my trip in Fiji!"

"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"When you book they will tell you that this is not a resort but it is really good. Did not understand why they wrote that to me. You have a huge house just for yourself with amazing garden or beach view. You have a fan mosquito net and some dimmers to make the light less strong in case you want to have it more chill and romantic. The family is very friendly. Clean and tidy. I had flowers in the house when arrived and they made sure we had a great stay. Activities are okay. There is a rock about...

"Nice coral reef reached by kayak. They provide the layak for free. Friendly people. They offer nice activities like blue lagoon, I-sawa cave, reef hopping ect. See in the picture. We had a great evening with kava drink. The food is 100$Fijian/day. 50$/kid. (Breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner). Water all day. We walked up to the hill for the sunset and was a beautiful landscape view."

"very nice staff, very wqrm and helpful. all meals in mandatory meal plan, so that is limiting but food good overall. This is a lodge-only experience (no other restaurants etc nearby), but lots of outfdoor things to do"

"Very simple but extremely good. If you do not mind to have cold shower and just have electricity for 3 hours ir is the perfect place to stay. The island is the most beautiful place that I have been. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel at home. I will learn a lot abou the Fijian culture. "
