"Overall this was a fantastic hotel to stay in, first the pro's: - very comfortable room and bed - Alejo, the front desk / concierge manager is WONDERFUL. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure we made the most of our stay (set us up with private autos, reservations, great restaurant suggestions, etc) The not so good: - no a la carte breakfast, either pay 90 Euros for buffet or starve - shower leaked onto the ground no matter what we tried to stop it from doing so. "This is a majestic old (but updated) hotel with excellent service. They gave us a tour of the facility and explained all the available services. The whirlpool, sauna, and steam room were all included in the price of the room. They even upgraded our room to ocean view! What incredible service at an incredible hotel. "

"Overall the facilities are great on paper, however the management give a very clear impression and direction that the facilities are not to be used. It felt like being in school with some very strict and judgmental head teachers who monitored our every move. Having paid 310 euros per night, I expect to be able to feel at home and use the facilities that are advertised. I will not book again and could not in all good consciousness recommend this facility to anyone."
