"Amazing views across Swaledale from the bedooms and front garden . Village green immediately outside the gate. Nicely furnished in the bedrooms and guest lounge. We had a seperate private bathroom. Tea/ biscuits in the room. Good breakfast with plenty of cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc and cooked breakfast options. Didn't eat at the hotel on this occasion othet than breakfast. "First impressions weren't great as there's a large sheet of wallpaper hanging off the wall, and a few issues with damp/paint peeling throughout, nothing a bit of maintenance can't fix. For the amount paid, and comparing to other accomodations stayed in, I wouldnt class it as value for money. The frying pan isnt an induction pan, so doesn't work with the hob.
