"Lovely hotel - we had the executive double with sea view - very comfortable king size bed, nice white bed and bathroom linen, large room with two bucket chairs and great sea view, tea/coffee, lovely clean bathroom with very hot water and great shower. "A decent hotel in a nice area close to all of the amenities. I found it to be a very strange hotel, the outside reminds me of my old school block and even though it is very stylised, it needs some TLC. "Staff were amazing however cleaners in the morning were extremely noisey and woke us up early on hoth morning of our stay. Room was cleam although we had to request shampoo and body wash for the shower on first night as our were empy. The staff on check in (james i think) couldnt have been more helpful and sorted it out straight away though. "Upon arrival no staff was to be seen, but was polite and showed us to our rooms. A few hazards on entry grates raised up on tile flooring at entry ( trip hazard) lift doesnt work. We was there two nights no fresh towels or bedding. Had to buy our own toilet roll. Cleaness needs a good clean over, walls had stains, carpets need a good clean. Overall was warm, comfy. "This is the only hotel that we have stayed in so far that has comfy carpets. We loved the walk in shower and regret not having used it, we stayed for one night and didn't really need it. Lots of different lighting options which was good. And a proper chocolate cookie to welcome us to our very first stay at the Hilton in Hull."
