"I stayed at the property recently for 3 months. While the property is getting a bit old, however, management seems to try its best in the upkeep and maintenance. Room sizes are a bit small, and ceiling lights are not sufficient, leaving corners of the room dark. Makes the room look even smaller than it is. The staff was good and friendly. Yet, there is a problem in communication. At times what they promise will be done, doesn't get done. Perhaps, a result of over promising, not understanding...

"This is an amazing palace, but it does not live up to either its reputation or high room tariff insofar as the Hyderabadi cuisine at their Indian restaurant. I was repeatedly told it was ready only to find that it wasn’t when we got to the room. It took over an hour to get this done. We were not advised there was a wedding taking place the day we arrived.
