"Wonderful last minute stay for husbands birthday with 3 young children. Hotel is beautiful and immaculate! We were given a room upgrade which was lovely and champagne and balloons left in the room to mark my husbands birthday. Would happily return."

"Breakfast was barely warm ! Shower was messy with rubber mat inside and bath mat out! Long walk from lift to shower. No coat hanging in restaurant area for outside clothing"

"A great choice for anyone visiting the Cotswolds as Lower Slaughter is a wonderful village and the hotel is in a perfect position. The only reason for it not making 5 stars was that the radiator in our room was not hot and we were there when it was particularly cold. Secondly, dinner was quite expensive and was not served as hot as you would expect. However staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Overall would recommed this hotel for a really comfortable stay in a great location."

"The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The accommodation was a little tired in places a reflection of a very old building. The breakfast was ok, although a little tasteless. "

"It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. "

"The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require. The fridge was stocked with milk, a pack of bacon, a pack of cheese and wine. Fruits and homemade marmalade were also left for us. All very thoughtful and welcoming.
