My only criticism was not knowing the wee pub across the road, the Stavely Arms isnrun by the same team, as we would have dinner there had we known. The breakfast was epic, and the bed was super comfy. Well worth the money we spent both on the accomodation and in the bar."

"Lovely property overlooking the Green.. rooms were very well decorated and seemed very opulent.. the room we had though felt a little cramped.. the bed was very big. But was awkward to get around.. the tv should be on the wall.. the bed was so high off the ground that you couldn’t see the tv properly! And my biggest bug bear in hotels etc… no dressing area.. no where to sit to dry hair etc!! But the hotel was very clean.. staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely… easy...

"Good little place to stay very personable with polite friendly staff. Restaurant available with seasonal menus which was very reasonably priced. Booked room only but did have breakfast again tasty . Also dog friendly . Would stay again if in the area "

"Overall a great weekend. It was sometimes quite difficult to find your way around, especially in the dark with minimal lighting outside and difficult to read signage. Lovely wooded walks and bikes available. "
