"Hotel is tired like many of these old hotel buildings, but certainly no worse than many I have stayed in. Bed was very comfy, room was warm and bathroom was clean and well stocked with toiletries. We moved rooms as the plumbing from the neighboring room made a lot of noise everytime they used the bathroom. The lady on reception was super, appologised and moved us without any fuss. Price was very cheap so I have no complaints about the standard of room we received. We will stay again next time we...

"Wonderful stay in the Manor House Hotel. Initial warm friendly welcome. Room clean spacious and very comfortable Evening meal was superb. Breakfast offered a fabulous selection. All the staff are accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you "

"The George is a lovely old building but needed a bit of tlc in places. The room was comfortable and in a quiet position with parking right outside the room. The setting of the hotel is beautiful- next to the river in a lovely little village but there are no other amenities nearby. The food was nice enough although my gammon was overcooked and a little dry. The breakfast was plentiful and there was lots of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful."
