"We very much enjoyed our stay at The Edinburgh Grand. Great location. Comfortable, well designed room. Terrific staff. Good gym. We had a snafu with the in-room washer/dryer that unfortunately didn’t drain properly. Staff was valiant in their efforts to help fix things. Had great cocktails and meal at Hawksmoor. Did not love our experience in the Lady Libertine basement space - very dark, so-so cocktails, and VERY LOUD. We had loved our dinner at Bon Vivant and had higher expectations for this...

"Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer."

"Excellent refurb. Not stayed for many years but a vast difference from the Golf Inn days. Only point might be its a bit pricey in the Stables restaurant.. Also need stronger coffee in the mornings - stick an extra spoon in the pot please!"

The location is ideal for city access yet safe and quiet in the grounds of Holyrood Palace. "It was closed your Pic was from a year ago it is covered in scaffolding and not open for 6 months I paid in advance and had to pay again at a sister Hotel (Raddisson) who demanded £2900. when I had pd over £3400 to Expedia.
