"The Howard Arms was fantastic! The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We were worried because our room was right over the beer garden, but everything was closed and quiet by 10 pm. The tavern decor is really nice and we had a very good quality dinner and breakfast there. It’s in a quaint small village and we took some lovely walks directly from the Inn. I highly recommend for a weekend or romantic getaway destination!"

"It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. "

"My husband & I stayed in The Slaughter Country Inn for 5 nights during our visit to the Cotswolds. The service at the inn, along with in their restaurant, was top-notch. The meals at the inn were excellent, much better than we have experienced in most inns in the U.S. The cottage that we stayed in was roomy and comfortable with a living room downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. They put bottled waters and cookies to accompany our tea or coffee in the room every day. Additionally, we enjoyed staying in Lower Slaughter as it is one of the quieter villages in the Cotswolds.
