"The view was absolutely spectacular. Nobu San Sebastián was exemplary in service, cleanliness and modernity. The bartender at Nobu was extremely accommodating. He gave us a mini sake’ sampling and was very friendly and warm. Our dinners at Nobu were outstanding! The only things to mention that could improve this experience would include an onsite hot tub, sauna, & steam to relax after traveling and the rooms need larger showers. Every room is designed so it is completely private, so you can have the curtains open on the entire glass wall in the bedroom and look out over the Bay of Biscay, and soak in the tub while inhaling the ocean air. You are practically outside. They really take care of you, here. They have a spa, and they are attached to the Akelarre Restaurant (3 Michelin stars) that started it all. "

"Beautiful hotel and property, and beautifully maintained grounds. The rooms were spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Great linens, toiletries, and towels. My only complaint was that they weren’t clear with us about whether breakfast was included and neglected to tell us the price- 35 EUR pp, and 7 EUR pp for tea! It’s a five star hotel so it sort of makes sense, but seems a bit steep given the area and what we paid for the room. Would’ve been nice to mention it ahead of time. "

"Overall the facilities are great on paper, however the management give a very clear impression and direction that the facilities are not to be used. It felt like being in school with some very strict and judgmental head teachers who monitored our every move. Having paid 310 euros per night, I expect to be able to feel at home and use the facilities that are advertised. I will not book again and could not in all good consciousness recommend this facility to anyone."

"Alberto (employee) changed the package I was promised by one of the hotel employees (that quit her job by the time we arrived) and instead of having a prepared package like promised by her, he just said no it’s not possible that she gave you this. So I cancelled my last 2 days for the unpleasant treatment. I expected more from a 5 star. "
