"First time staying at Mandarin Oriental in Shanghai, and what a great experience it was! Front desk staff, fast check in, consierge (forgot name of the Mr.) gave me all needed informations about the hotspots in city! Room, modern, clean and spacious with a nice view over the financial district and the river. Breakfast is diverse, Asian/European style. Gym area is superb, combined with 25m swimming pool, saunas, and massage facilities. Overall good value for the money! "

"Great accommodation from beginning to end. There was a line during check-in and the hotel staff brought me to another level to check in so I didn't have to wait. The rooms were spacious and maintained twice a day by the housekeepers. Overall it was a pleasant experience. "

"First time to Shanghai, hotel is located near a station which makes moving around the city a littler easier. Concierge service is good especially with a team of friendly and enthusiastic staff members. However, it was difficult to find food in or near the hotel areas, which is rather inconvenient for overseas travellers."
