"The greatest part of this hotel besides the amazing staff ( Jake, Zach and Bridget ) was the history of the property, not realizing the name of the property White Star Tavern was associated to the Titanic, Every were in the hotel where pictures and historical facts of the Titanic and the White Star shipping company. The rooms were cosy and quiet even though it’s above a tavern you never heard noise. There’s no lift but it’s like walking up the stairs at home and you leave your luggage downstairs...

"Lovely Sunday night stay at a charming Inn. The staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was a little hot but there was a Dyson fan which worked well. In the bedroom were Coffee and tea making facilities and an iron and ironing board. There was no wardrobe but there was a hanging rail ( definitely ok for an overnight stay). I took my own hairdryer and didn’t see one in the room. Plenty of plugs available and a large TV. The bed was comfortable and...

"This is a lovely old house. Small pool and a hot tub. Huge gardens. Our room (Genius) was big. Comfy bed, lovely shower. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only down point was big thick duvet in summer and no alternative available. "
