"Over all very nice spot. Room was nice and beds were very comfortable! The room was hot with no way to shut off the heater or cool it down. Also you need a code to get your key out of a box in front of the building. Not sure if we missed a message or what, but we never received a code. Thankfully there were other guests who let us use their code to retrieve our key otherwise I’m not sure if we would have gotten in that night. "

"A small restaruant/bar hotel situated on a quiet road with Canga De Onis a 20 minute drive in one direction and Las Arenas a 10 minute drive in the other. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the rooms are cleaned daily. Bedrooms are comfy and simple, with no kettle or fridge. "We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rural La Cortina, so chilled out with those wonderful views. The property is so in keeping with the natural environment it is surrounded by. Our welcome was very hospitable and the hosts were very eager to make our stay just perfect. "Lovely property with the sweetess hostess. There is no elevator but she helped me lift my suitcase to the upper floor. Rooms are cozy, clean and most importantly warm enough in the cold mountain weather. Parking is super close by and so are shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here"
