"The property was breathtaking- i could not believe how huge this former Monastery was, and how greatly it was renovated. Our room was very clean, staff was extremely friendly. One caviat is that call them in advance to get directions as google maps seems to take you around and round through very narrow streets up the hill for no reason, and just when you think you have arrived, google maps tells you to make a u-turn😁"

"We enjoyed our stay here, and they arranged a wonderful day of wine tasting and a cooking class for us. The things we did not like, though, were that the gym in the basement was very warm, and also the outdoor pool was not open, even though it was quite hot out. The breakfast was nice. There is not much to do in the immediate area, so you would want to have a car, or a driver arranged for your time there. We did not use any of the spa services. They have bikes to use, but we did not inquire...
