"We love the Hotel Intercontinental.This was our third time staying here. Such a great location. We booked a walking tour and all we had to do was walk down from the hotel in 3 minutes to the port where all the action is. A good dining option at the bistro after traveling all day and arriving late. Breakfast was good, freshly made omlettes an option. Historic 19th Century building built as a hospital during the Napoleonic wars so the rooms are large and the public spaces rich in decor."

Front desk, Stephan, was kind and nice. The exit level of the basement parking lacks elevator access which was difficult for moving larger luggage. "The reason I didn't rate it high in cleanliness, The pool and the spa definitely need work. There were tiles missing in the spa. I don't think all of the Jets were working. It definitely doesn't look like the spot on the web page. And the outdoor pool had slime all around the water line. I didn't go in because it didn't look like they clean it on a regular basis. In my room the skirt to the bed had spots on it, but the actual bed and sheets were perfectly clean. The bathroom seemed very clean...

"All really good except room was not ready on arrival so had to wait over 45 mins. Room cleaning was done at the end of the day. Most other hotels seem to do a morning clean which is preferred if returning to the room during the day"

"We had a wonderful stay at Les Lodges. The view of Mount Saint Victoire was stunning. The room was large and modern. The staff working at Les Lodges were fantastic! They were so friendly and kind and provided great recommendations. They also provided a shuttle service in and out of the city of Aix en Provence. The location was peaceful just outside of the city. We would love to come back again one day."
