"Really lovely hotel! Highly recommend- we stayed here as there were train strikes so made it difficult for us to get to London. Amersham is a gorgeous little village- reminded me of the film ‘The Holiday’ but also only an hour (if that) on the tube into central London. "Stayed in room 8. There was black mould on the on the ceiling , mould on the bottom shower trim, no plug in the bathroom, the water from the tap only tricked.. There was cobwebs in the room , the window didn't close. There was thick dust on the top of the wardrobe and on the top of the 4 poster bed, only one side lamp was plugged into an electrical socket, there was no mattress protector and the mattress was 4 inches from the headboard.i was not given the wi fi password so I couldn't use their...
