"This is a lovely old hotel which has been carefully modernised .It is in a great location in Horncastle's town centre close to the market . lots of antique shops and some good restaurants . Food in the hotel was great for both breakfast and dinner , and both food and drinks were reasonably priced . This part of Lincolnshire is well worth exploring and The Admiral Rodney Hotel makes an excellent base to do so . "

"Another lovely stay at this beautiful hotel in the heart of historic Lincoln. A short walk from both the Castle and Cathedral. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. However, we had a delicious afternoon tea and breakfast in the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. A wonderful stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the city. "

"This Hotel is a an absolute treasure that combines relaxing comfort with professionalism. We received a warm welcome at reception, the rooms were stylishly decorated but homely and the overall layout of the guest areas made for an experience that was simultaneously classy but intimate. We had breakfast and dinner on both of the days of our stay and were impressed by the breadth and flexibility of the menus available and the high quality of the food and wine menu. All in all an excellent stay "
