"We have stayed at Kilhey Court on several occasions and always have an enjoyable break. The hotel is a little jaded in places but is perfectly acceptable for the price, and is always clean. The pool is not currently open but steps are being taken to reopen it when possible. What really makes this place stand out is the fabulous staff who work so hard to make your visit a good one, and always with a smile on their faces and a friendly word."

"We stayed for my friends wedding and the staff were AMAZING! They really couldn't do enough for us. The food was really good in the restaurant, breakfast and during the wedding. The rooms were spacious and clean, I would certainly recommend for a 1 night stay. The decor is a little tired and dated but the areas were very clean. If they updated the door locks to key cards, soundproofed the rooms a little and modernised the decor it would be a superb 5 star hotel. "

"Really nice place. Big pub/restaurant with rooms attached - modern chain pub style. Room very clean and well presented. Location not the nicest being off a main road with large industrial units in the vicinity but fine for a quick stop over. Major downside for me was that the restaurant stopped serving food at 8pm which was quite strange. "

"I stayed here for 4 nights and during the 2nd night there was an issue with the room, and I wanted to change rooms, Millie on reception was very understanding and helpful and sorted me another room out immediately in the lodge for the rest of my stay, I can’t praise her enough for this The food was good and the other staff were friendly and polite "

"The Alma is set in beautiful surrounding just a 10 min down hill walk ftom a village or 5 mins in the car into a town but you feel like your away from everything The staff are all very helpful and cant do enough for you choice of food is good ( if your wanting a great sunday roast get there early as the had run out at 4pm) just pre order your sunday roast wine and coktails are reasonably priced . On that note this is why we repeat visit once a month to re-couperate and take time out to chill...
