We stayed in the spa hotel, Friday till Sunday.
From the moment we checked in, till the moment we checked out the service, attention to detail, politeness and professionalism has been amazing and honestly the best we’ve experienced from a hotel, having stayed at a few 5* hotels.
We had paid for dinner allocations throughout our stay but as we had missed our first night due to checking in late, the receptionist made it no problem to swap it to lunch the next day, and also gave us other options to change it towards which is super helpful and appreciated.
The cleanliness of our room was 11/10, everything had been cleaned, even the skirting boards, bathrooms in hotels usually have mould or black marks, this was white seals all round, it looked brand new to be honest!
Reception called our room to see if our fridge needed topping up or room cleaned, usually it’s a leave your hanger on the door and it’ll be dealt with but this just felt like they couldn’t do enough for you.
Every staff member we passed or interacted with was so polite, friendly and smiled, it’s so lovely to see.
Food was amazing also in the orangery, spa was beautiful! And with plenty to do, probably in the thermal journey, there’s 10 things to do, rooms to go in!
Will definitely be returning and would like to say a special thank you for the helpfulness and kindness of Sue (Reception) and the lady on the orangery reception (short blonde hair, apologies we never caught her name)
