"Stayed bere earlier in the year and when I was working in the area again I didn't hesitate to book in to here again. The room was clean and looks like it has been refurbished recently (over the last couple of years) and was comfortable. The pub and restaurant is nice with a reasonable selection on the menu to please most people. The staff are great really friendly and helpful in both the pub and checking in side of the business. "Russel and Nicky made us feel very welcome and at home , the breakfast are amazing and worth a revisit alone ! The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great . We had bedroom 3 and the river runs directly outside and the sounds and views of the river are very relaxing . We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely quiet peaceful break with lovely walks right on your doorstep.. we will be back for sure "
