"Well, if you want to visit Schaffhausen, and who wouldn't, this is certainly the place to stay if you are either driving on coming by train. The parking is next door, as is the station. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel's restaurant/bar really nice. It is convenient to everything, and walking distance to all you would want to see. A fantastic place to visit and to stay. Would highly recomment do anyone."

"A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. Staff was all very friendly, though despite us speaking German and English, at times there were some language-based communication challenges with restaurant staff that could be improved. "Our family room was huge and also spacious bathroom, had AC which is rear in Switzerland. Fan was also provided. Nice breakfast offering. 5 minutes close to train station. 8 minutes to eating and grocery shopping which is right on the train station "

"Such a beautiful hotel with lovely reception staff. We booked a junior suite which had a great view of the gardens and lake. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Comfortable large bed. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to the ferry and lots of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the train station. Lots of options for walks along the lake to other towns and can get the bus or train back. Would definitely recommend staying in Uberlingen and this lovely hotel. "

"The room was pretty dated and the floors weren’t very clean (had some sort of grit on them). The rooms I saw online were not what we got. The Seehotel restaurant was good and lots of walkable lakefront, park and restaurants nearby. "

"The staff and owners are amazing. Myself and 4 coworkers need a large taxi (or 2 normal) to get to a business meeting a few kilometers away and the owner offered the hotel van to drive us there. I truly appreciated this act of kindness"
