We loved the area with excellent parking right outside the hotel. The breakfast was so delicious with incredible selection of homemade cakes and marmalades and fresh cheeses and prosciutto and mortadella. "

"This is THE place to stay! This piazza is the main place in the whole of Mantua, and you'll be right next to everything. I was charmed to find myself in a room the size of an apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was less than charmed to find out that the Italian passion for saving energy meant that the washing machine and stove are turned off unless one stays for a month. I thought I was in a loft, but it turned out I could hear the people above me rearranging furniture until late each...

"Check in was quick but the attendant wasn’t friendly. We were looking for ice and all he had to say was - no ice. My room didn’t have a shower head, lacked a set of robes and slipper which I had made the staff aware. "
