"Positives: great location, good food options even for vegetarians, staff in the hotel were very helpful. Shuttle bus (free) takes you into the main resort coming frequently in both directions. Ski lift opposite hotel for non beginner skier as it’s a green run. You can also hire all your ski equipment from the hotel as they have both a ski shore shop and ski lockers /drying rooms for your gear. Negative: poor communication when booking hotel in the uk and trying to get a response from them...

"Lovely hotel in a good location with friendly helpful staff. We were staying on a bed and breakfast tariff and the breakfast selection was very good and fresh. Bar area a good size with comfortable seating and an open fire. Our only criticism is the fact that you have to pay extra for the sauna/jaquzzi when you are a hotel guest. I can understand that you need to book a time/slot as it is small but €20 each per hour was very disappointing, we decided not to use it so can’t comment on the...

"Had a delay in route to the hotel. Spoke with staff on the telephone explaining the delay in Italy and I would arrive very late that night. They put me at ease explaining there will always be someone available 24 hours"

"Wow! The hotel is amazing! We loved everything about our stay. I highly recommend it for its cozy rooms, friendly staff, magical atmosphere, and excellent customer service. It definitely deserves a big thumbs up! We visited on White Day, and there was a lot of snow! The sauna was fantastic, and the view was breathtaking!"

"The staff was very helpful and kind. The room is quite small but that was fine for two people. We didn’t find any sign to put at the door so we don’t get disturbed by morning cleanings, but somehow the staff seem to know exactly when you leave the room and clean it, even in the afternoon. "We spent 4 nights at Les hauts de Comborcieres during the Christmas break. The apartment was comfortable. It is very conveniently located near the ski slopes. The pool was really nice too. It is too bad that it closes on Saturdays and that it does not open later at night (it closes at 7:30 pm and it is very crowded in the evening). Les Hauts de Comborcieres is not really a hotel. The apartment is not cleaned daily which was not a problem for us, but we had to take the towels and sheets down to...

"Please note the rooms are nice but very small, they have small balconies which were very nice in the summer. Restaurant was also quite nice, however only serves until 21:30 so check your arrival time. Lots of good places to eat in the small town "

"Superbly located property, a few yards away from the lift with great facilities; garage, ski lockers, pool… we checked in online (which we strongly recommend) via the link the property sent which saved us queueing on arrival Saturday (queue was out the door!) - they will send you a SMS with you room number, go there straight away and your keys and instructions will be on the kitchen table. Brilliant! Would return if skiing in Alpe d’Huez again."

Camping très prisés des touristes hollandais, plusieurs problèmes avec la réservation hôtels.com, le camping ne trouvant pas trace, puis voulant nous facturer les draps. Wonderful Stay

"Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s super convenient to have all the facilities under the same roof. Ski hire, lockers, swimming pool, restaurant, pool table, bar and even the ski lift is Less than a minute walk away. Indoor and outdoor pool is pretty special, the only thing missing is a jacuzzi. Food and drink at the hotel was always something to look forward to and being all inclusive really helped to keep costs reasonable. Special mention goes to the hotel staff who were really helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. "

"This property is great value for money and is really close to thebest lifts in Alp d’Huez. For the cost it is really smart and the breakfast was excellent. Staff all really niceand helpful. €20 to use the spa which we were happy paying. Only advice is to get a room at the backof the property as the frontis quite noisey."
