"This is a gorgeous, family run hotel in the hills just 5 minutes drive above Levanto, with wonderful views down to the sea. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple and beautifully done (and great coffee). But we stayed in mid-April and their restaurant wasn’t open yet, with no guest bar either or any spaces indoors accessible to sit or eat/drink during the day (except for breakfast) or evening. "A beautiful, boutique hotel, with excellent facilities. Wonderful doing experiences with a clear focus of field to table. Lots of ingredients (including the wine) is grown by the hotel, in the surrounding area. Weather wasn’t great during our stay, but it didn’t dilute the beauty of the location, or the area, and the hotel put on a free pesto making demonstration (with wine!) as ‘compensation’ for the bad weather. It didn’t stop us from going in the pool either! Although we are wild swimmers...
