"This was a perfect little getaway for winter. The cabin was cozy, the fireplaces set the mood and the hot tub was a nice way to end the day. A nice location just 15 minutes to downtown blue ridge and 10 minutes to grocery store. "

"I requested an early check in and got no response. We arrived at the property and the front door code didnt work and seemed to be broken Went to the back door, the code worked but the knob was locked. Called the number and the person didnt know what to do. I saw a lock box (Real Estate) And the code worked on it. so we went through the back door. Waited 3 hours to get in. Screen door on front needs to be fixed. Top of loft stairs is a trip hazard. "

"Everything was great. Kids had a great time. A little interesting of a drive to get too ( our GPS ) was spot on. Inside was very clean and ready for us. Outside garden and yard just needed a quick pruning and trimming. Grass and bushes had overgrown blocking the creek and some of the seating areas, but still very nice. We missed the mentioning of a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill, no big deal. Overall really nice! Only complaint was people tend to walk through the back yard to fish, tube,...

"Prior to booking, the property owner was asked about driveway , as I drive a sedan. They said it would be fine, this dishonest approach put my family in danger and we almost got stuck in poorly maintained very steep driveway. When I called to express concern that we were stuck at bottom of drive, the excuse was given that it rained during last guest stay. If you don’t have a truck - don’t rent this cabin."

"Love the location. The house was pretty nice, the cabin was well equipped and furniture was comfortable. Was disappointed that the TV was not a smart TV. Couldn’t log into my accounts to watch football etc. nice 2 person tub but the hot water heater isn’t big enough to fill it. There a wood burning stove and that was nice but there is no fire pit outside. It’s prohibited. The back porch is nice with plenty of sitting. Outside lights by the garage were not on and couldn’t find a switch so coming...
