Holidays require a 3 night minimum stay and major holidays require 5 nights including Friday and Saturday night! All weekends require a 2 night min stay including Friday and Saturday night and weekly 7 night stays require Friday to Friday or Sunday to Sunday stays!
Minutes away from the cabin are river tubing, white water rafting, kayaking, wineries and breweries w music, horseback riding, hiking water fall trails, drive inn movie theater, zip lining, Lake Blue Ridge pontoon boat rentals and fishing close by and Casinos! Cabin is spacious to accommodate up to 3 families. Check-in is at 4pm! I only allow up to 15 total guests! You can invite another family and share the cost with them.
Our home is over 3000 square feet privately situated on 2.35 acres with amazing Mountain/Lake Views that sleeps up to sixteen guests comfortably! The first 4 guests are included in the nightly price and additional guests over 4, even with babies are charged $12 per night per person plus taxes clean fee, insurance and processing fee. I have made a few exceptions for family dogs with a $99 fee plus taxes per dog max two. They are not allowed on furniture or bedding!
Our Lodge has four private bedrooms (1st Private Bedrm Main floor King Log bed) ( 2nd Private Bedrm Upper Floor with KING Bed plus a sleeping loft w two full size futons) (3rd Private Bedrm Basement has Three beds Queen plus Bunkbed Full and Twin sleeps 5) (4th Private Bedrm in Basement has Queen bed) plus the huge basement living room w 46 inch TV with sectional couch, with 4 huge leather chairs plus a private covered deck w 7 person hottub full couch and two cushioned love seats! Each of the three levels has a full-size bathroom. That’s 3 bathrooms total. AWESOME Surround Sound Stereo nine speaker sound system that can be controlled from each of the rooms, a Stone Rock Fire Pit/Patio to roast marshmellows and outside deck seating/tables for up to 16 to enjoy meals. Internet WIFI.
Hard wood floors and Indian/Bear decor, 3 TVs with cable in basement 53 inch screen TV, 32 inch TV in Master Bedroom and 42 inch living room. Graco High Chair and Graco Pak-N-Play w/ Infant Crib,large out-side wooden playfort with climbing fort, swings covered picnic table etc.! Game Room 3rd floor has Adult ping-pong table and Adult 8 Foot Slate Pool Table, kids foosball table and 4 foot tall Barbie doll house/3 foot tall kids kitchenette play set/2 foot tall muppet theatre plus two full size futons! Walk through the front door with a Black Carved Bear to greet you and your family along with vaulted one foot pine logs. Enter into the spacious kitchen that offers a fully-equipped stain-less steel appliances kitchen with serving bar.
Walk out the two-wide french doors that lead you to a incredible spacious covered deck that frame a breathtaking view of the long range mountains feeling the mountain breezes with friends and family! The covered deck has 2 dinner tables w chairs plus sectional couch and over 8 additional large cushioned chairs with end tables, gas grille and charcoal grill. Have your kids bring a small bug cage from Wal-Mart to collect moths, butter-flies, grand daddy long legs and centipedes.
This is the perfect place for two or three families to share with much privacy and spacious room to breathe. You can relax while taking taking in incredible views, take long walks, visit museums, take the kids swimming in the beautiful Lake Blue Ridge, go picnicking, site-seeing, rent pon-toon boats from the marina or go tubing down the river just minutes from your Commanche Lodge!

8 Picnic at Horseshoe Bend Park on the River McCaysville on Hwy 60. Pretty park located in the bend of the Toccoa River on River Road. Fishing, playground, covered picnic tables, restrooms. Pickin' in the Park on Thursday evenings, May through November.
9 Go Whitewater Rafting Ages 12 and older. Raft the wild Ocoee River just 30 minutes from Blue Ridge. Class 3 and 4 rapids and non-stop action.
10 The Lilly Pad Village Located 7.5 miles from Blue Ridge on Aska Road. Gem Mining, fishing (poles and bait provided) and a round of mini golf in the woods! Lots of family fun to be had here.
11 Rent a Pontoon or a Jet Ski Rent a pontoon or a jet ski at the Lake Blue Ridge Marina and spend the day on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge.
12 Swim at Morganton Point Recreation Area Recreation area on Lake Blue Ridge with fishing, swimming, picnicking, boating and camping. Pebble beach – wear water shoes. Paved boat ramp. Take Hwy. 515 south from Blue Ridge to Hwy. 60/Morganton. In Morganton, turn right on Lake Drive, go one mile.
13 Tube or Kaya the Toccoa River Fun for all ages. Toccoa Valley Campground on Aska Road; Rolling Thunder River Company, Toccoa River Adventures and Blue Ridge Mountain in McCaysville.
14 Go Horseback Riding Lots of choices of riding stables in Blue Ridge and McCaysville. Riding for all ages, plus hayrides and overnight trips. Ask the Welcome Center for a list of riding stables.
15 Catch a Fish. Fish for trout at Tammen Park or Horseshoe Bend on the Toccoa River or bass or brim in Lake Blue Ridge at Morganton Point. Many more places to fish – ask us at the Welcome Center.
16 Visit the Chattahoochee Fish Hatchery Visitor center and exhibits on raising trout, as well as a large insect display. Fish Rock Creek while you’re there. Open all year, Monday – Friday. Off Highway 60 between Morganton and Dahlonega.
17 Explore The Ocoee Whitewater Center Site of the 1996 competition in the Olympics. Hiking trails, swimming holes, nature exhibits, legacy bridge. Highway 64 between Ducktown TN and Cleveland TN.
