"Having spent years staying in National chain hotels this pub was exceptional & a breath of fresh air. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed & clean on suite rooms. Breakfast was probably the best freshly cooked that I've ever had. 5* for me. I would definitely recommend."

"An excellent hotel experience. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and have thought carefully about the needs of their guests. The continental buffet (yoghurts, breads, fruit, pastries) was very appreciated, and the hosts also had a home-made cake that guests could have upon arrival. The room was quiet, and the king size bed very comfortable. The shower (over the bath) had good water pressure and easy to use. Free parking is available for eight cars (four at the front, four to the rear). "

"Ideal Rocks. This place is a proper hidden gem. On the waterfront and with fantastic dining options it was the perfect place to spend a pre Christmas getaway and mooch around the classy little town of St Mawes, which always seems to be bustling without being overcrowded even at peak times of the year.
