"This place is amazing. It was built as a winery in 1600’s and now it has been converted into a hotel. The architecture and interior finish is beautiful. The grounds and pool are meticulously maintained. It was a treat to have a full hot breakfast rather than the usual continental. It was very quiet however we were there in October."

The restaurant was could be fixed up to feel more appealing. Not a great selection for breakfast. Staff was friendly and anxious to help. It was a good stop after traveling many hours. Two things we were disappointed in was the breakfast, which could be improved dramatically - I know they cater mainly for Italian tourists, but we have been to many other Italian hotels and this one has the poorest breakfast of all of them, for example: no cheese on ham, only pastries, bread and yoghurts very poor, and very little fruit. "The staff was especially helpful, cheerful and efficient. The breakfast had a wide array of choices and was delicious. The room had many amenities such as robes, slippers and bath products. Would definitely stay here again."
