"This is an exceptional property set in a beautiful rural location with exquisite views over landscaped gardens. It is so peaceful that you feel as though you’re miles from anywhere when you’re actually only 2km (a lovely walk!) from the town boundary. "Arrived at hotel to unhelpful and dismissive receptionist, arrived in room to find no soap in shower, one fork and no other utensil in drawer, no coffee plunger, no dish cloth or tea towel, no microwave. Outside the Smoking area for all guests was very close to our windows and no chance of privacy from them during day unless curtains fully closed. Noise from upstairs rooms very noticeable. "
