"The room had a four poster bed and we had amazing views of the hills. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We decided to have our evening meal in the hotel. We had the garlic and chicken schnitzel with gnocchi, and the steak and venison pie. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and we recommend them. Portion sizes were just right for us. We shared the cheese board for two which was very good too. Breakfast was to order and we both had the full English. There was a lot of other choices...

"Room was lovely, and fairly quiet for above a pub. When we arrived there was several sets of bedding’s and sheets drying in our room over chairs and a clothes airier, must have been left by housekeeping but not in issue we just folded and set aside. Only downfall was that the shower head didn’t stay up. We ate and drank in the pub also, food was absolutely gorgeous both evening meal and breakfast. "

"We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream) Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed.
