"booked to visit the waterfall & World Heritage sites, which were sublime, and we equally enjoyed the hotel experience. gorgeous lobby felt like a mossy forest. we had beautiful ocean & mountain view from room & from onsen. the meals were a taste of Japan prepared especially for our vegetarian diets, which we sincerely appreciated. there were dance performances that we did not expect that were a treat. & the short walk around the coastal corner to see an island torii gate was a cherry on top. I don’t know if we will ever be back in this part of the world, but dream of returning & would book this hotel again. friendly staffthank you so much! "

"Quiet and close to the whale museum. However, not many dinning options near by unless you drive. Public transport is limited as well."

"Spacious and comfortable hotel with great view from room and also outside spa. Lounge service with drinks and snack was wonderful, too. Definitely we’ll come back."
