Paid extra for breakfast. Plenty on offer, hot and cold. Opted for the hot buffet breakfast, which was OK, but have had better. Overall, a pleasant one night stay."

"The Lodge is lovely but awkwardly located and getting a bit worn down at the edges. The staff are polite but not all that solutions-driven. Lots of little mistakes were made (e.g., calling me by the wrong name, shutting off the key before I checked out, sliding other people’s mail under the door) and the hotel staff was very nonchalant about the incompetence. Similarly, the restaurant, though tasty, has an inflexible staff/chef. "

"Rooms are a little 'tired' in need of a revamp, but was okay for an overnight stay. We didnt get to use all of the facilities on this visit (the pool/gym), so cannot comment on that. The room could've done with a better clean for sure, but I have stayed in a lot worse places, so overall 3 stars for cleanliness. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room are the nicest people I've come across on a business level in recent years and they're the reason for our repeat returns to this hotel...
