"We have it a habit of spending the night at Malpensa Sheraton before whatever morning flight we will be taking. It takes a lot of the pressure of getting to the airport ontime on the day of the flight away making the begnning of a trip a lot less stressful. The hotel is great and its restaurant really good. Service and the rooms are great!"

"Hotel cleanliness, quality, etc fine. Point out: don’t count on shuttle. Claim is every 15 minutes. We came in just past 5 and when calling were told the next would be at 6pm unless we wanted a personalized arrival window. Family waiting with us similarly had to wait 50 minutes for shuttle to arrive. Next morning we’re told shuttle runs at 4:30am. When we arrived at 4:30 it was full so we had to get taxi."

We got stuck in Arona due to a train strike and managed to get a room at Hotel Bristol and the staff helped us arrange transportation to Milan the next day so we can continue on with our journey. "We have only good things to say about this property. It was conveniently located for our rental car location. They had shuttles to/from the airport. The property looked new or newly renovated, the room was large, clean and very comfortable. There was a restaurant on premises as well as a lounge/bar area. The staff were VERY helpful and courteous - and spoke many different languages."

"First I’ll point out what I’d say are obvious to most stays in Italy, just because I think it’s good information for Americans like us. A lot of people on these apps leave negative feedback for these reasons, but just know that we’re in Italy and these factors are just about everywhere here. 1) there are steps to get to your room, sometimes a lot of them. 2) a lot of places don’t have elevators (this one DOES) 3) the showers are small! I’m 6’4” and 240lbs… I fit, but it’s not like home, lol....
