"Absolutely superb location - just opposite the beach and site where there are markets on Saturdays and Thursdays. Apartment had all you needed for cooking if you wanted and also a dishwasher. Very friendly and informative owners on reception. Make sure you do the walk up to the lighthouse and keep your eye out for wildlife - we saw Whales, a wallaby and a snake!"

"Nice modern room with good kitchen facilities and large bathroom, bed was really comfy and the room was clean. Had tea, coffee, sugar, and milk when we arrived and the toiletries smelt lovely! It’s in a good location about 10 mins walk from Byron Bay centre along the beach and had parking outside. There is a pool but we didn’t use that on this occasion as only there one night. There was a very helpful lady when we arrived, she wasn’t staff but she helped us get the keys as there weren’t staff...

"Location and apartment were great. We had a lovely mid-winter break. I chose the property because it had a heated pool and spa. Unfortunately the spa was not working and the heating did not seem to be on in the pool. Otherwise the stay was great."

"This is among the best of the hotels I've stayed in. I stayed for three nights and would have loved to be there for longer. Hotel Marvell's rooms are absolutely beautiful, and beautifully designed, each with a balcony with some of the comfiest chairs I've relaxed in, in a while. The staff are lovely and the breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is maybe 7-10 mins from the beach and close to a ton of stores and shops (incl BayLeaf and the Book Room) but also slightly (maybe half a block) removed...
