"Nice location, beautiful surroundings and nice, new hotel… The breakfast was well stocked… The bed was a bit soft and lumpy in our double bed room… I would suggest going with a queen size bed instead. Also, it’s weird that they have a coffee machine in the rooms but don’t provide one free water bottle for a stay of 2 nights… strange. Otherwise, it was fun! "

"The hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment but even the older rooms are of a good standard. Friendly, helpful staff. Car parking is across the road at the station but the daily rate is acceptable. Handy for the rail station. 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. I will use this place again. "

"We enjoyed our stay and the surroundings. The room was quite warm on arrival, and there didn't seem to be a thermostat or air conditioning, but that was easily remedied by opening the window. Breakfast was OK, a little basic perhaps. We did appreciate being able to have breakfast late-ish (until 11). Soap dispensers in the bathroom said 'hand soap' but worked fine as shampoo nonetheless. Overall it was fine and worked for us. "

"Perfect location. Easy Self checkin-in. Friendly owners whom went out of their way to bring us a grand breakfast as we had a competition, so we left 45mins before breakfast started. Love the 50’s room. (Soundproof as there was a music festival near the harbour, though our room was at the back). Welcome drinks in room. (Free upgrade) which we didn’t expect as we’d booked a grand deluxe months in advance) which I’m sure would have been lovely too. Very comfy bed. Beautiful Open bathroom, so no...
