"Right from check in [it was earlier than stated], the staff couldn't be more helpful. The receptionist escorted us to our room and made everything was OK before she left. We only booked bed and breakfast but the dining staff were quickly on hand to help out and especially for those that have mobility problems taking food to the tables for them. The only gripe I would have at breakfast is the hot food wasn't hot and only warm. The cleaning staff were busy all day making sure the hotel was clean...

"There is a variety of food at the breakfast and dinner buffet, the deserts are particularly good. The location is good, being directly located on the beachfront promenade. The hotel itself would benefit from a refresh. Improved modern lighting, furniture and decorations in addition to improved ventilation would be recommended. This would help improve the atmosphere in the level -1 spaces."

Some of the guests had refurbished rooms on floors 5 & 6 with proper air conditioning which were much nicer (the room I booked for my parents through Expedia). "Perfect location as you are on the beach but are close to restaurants, the bus station, the Kings Mall, bars and the sites. The staff are helpful and the entertainment is fun. The harbour is about a half an hour walk. The internet is great. You get fantastic sunsets from the beach. "

"Staff were very attentive and helpful at all times. Breakfast well stocked and varied for even a fussy eater like me. The outdoor and indoor pools were clean and deck chairs and areas all clean and well looked after. Very good standard of cleanliness in main part. The room we had had very good amenities and was spacious. They do need updating as the bathroom was tired looking and the bedroom furniture. Lounge area of room had modern furniture.
