"Initially I was checked in to smaller room than I booked. Upon discussion in the following morning, the room was switched to the correct one and all the move was neatly done by staff while I went out to business. The room (superior room) was very comfortable. Housekeeping was perfect. The location is also good as close to the train station and easy to move to Casablanca and Tangier for a day trip. Only negative point is Hotel.com does not provide an option to include breakfast in the pricing...

"Wonderful staff who make you feel at home. Local place in an amazing former Ambassador's house with history and culture. Bit out of the way but quiet and peaceful with a lovely garden and pool. Not for the business traveler who wants a 24 hour service, gym and bar, but great for couples, small family, and end of long trip repose. Moroccan food is fantastic!"

"My room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel. A nightclub which exited at the front of hotel was open nearly every night until 4 or 5am. Very noisy from 2am until 5am most nights. I stayed 2wks total. Many taxies outside dropping off and picking up through the night. Luckily I sleep well but was woken up several times with horns beeping and many people shouting. "This Riad is a beautiful traditional Moroccan home with guest rooms located off open air courtyards that are weatherproof but airy. The extended family who run the business is lovely and although their English is somewhat limited, they always figured out what I was asking and made every effort to assist. "The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too.
