"We arrived to the property at 2:30, with a 3:00 check-in. Our room was not ready, which we expected, so we went out for half an hour. When we return a little after 3pm they said our room would not be ready for another 40 minutes or more. We were tired and really wanted to freshen up. The staff were unapologetic (an apology and making the customer feel like they are the priority goes a long way) and made us almost feel like we were imposing expecting the room to be ready on time. "Firstly, staying in Sale means you get a more "step back in time" feeling. You won't see many other tourists on the streets, the market is authentic because it's used by the locals and you don't get hassled and the medina is fabulous (walking around the medina walls facing Rabat was a highlight of our trip).
