"Perfect location for the theatre close to lots of restaurants and lovely walk through the winter gardens. Used the swimming pool and spa facilities which were a lovely addition to the stay. Only criticism was we could feel the springs through the mattress on our bed a new mattress is needed!"

"A large hotel set in its own grounds. We had a comfortable double room on the ground floor. It was a bright room with a bay window looking out onto the courtyard and across to stables bar. We had breakfast included and it was self service, there was a large choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt. You could help yourself to a continental or full English. "Lovely refurbished bedroom with good amenities (when you find the hairdryer by lifting up the desk!), great to have a fridge in the room. Friendly and helpful Reception staff and friendly Breakfast staff. The hotel is an easy walk to Ponds Forge swimming pool which was the reason for our stay. We would have liked breakfast to start a bit earlier than 8a.m. at the weekends as it meant my daughter could not have breakfast before she had to be at Ponds Forge for warm up. We were a bit disappointed...
