"The property itself is very good, not much shops around , besides a few restaurants along the cost and within 10 Minutes you go be in the main shops by the center of town - but definitely recommend for a nice place to stay "

"Lovely hotel, spotless clean and 2 min walk to the centre. Unlimited brunch was fab so much choice only downside was there was no butter available for toast or bread rolls. Approx 10.min walk to the beach down loads of steps of there is a lift which costs 50 cent each way "

"The hotel is fantastic, the staff was so friendly, the food spread was delicious and variable. The breakfast was my favourite, fresh guacamole, amongst other things, was the best way to start the day! For those wanting to travel by bus there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the city centre. There is also a QR code listed at the stop which tells in how many minutes the bus will arrive at the stop, this is extremely handy for planning the departure time...

"Stayed here several times - nice rooms the spa is great especially if the weather isnt great. Pity that the main pool bar is rarely open except in the height of the season."

"What a fabulous hotel. The location is a bit out of the way, but that suits us. Staff are fabulous, really welcoming and friendly. The lobby is super impressive and has a great breakfast/dining room lovely. This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Would recommend to friends."

"This was our second day at the Occidental, unfortunately that air-conditioning was not working for our day which we were not made aware of on check in. Our room was ready early when we arrived and we were allocated to the ninth floor with a balcony and partial sea view which was very nice. Unfortunately without Aircon, it was just too hot at night even with the patio doors open so we did struggle to sleep. I do have an outside food bar and drinks bar. The sun lounges are comfortable and they...
