"We were welcomed and checked in warmly by reception. We had also pre-registered online by the welcome email from Hotel Baren. Their staff went the extra mile to provide extra latex pillow and fixed the safe locking error when requested. We booked the Comfort room which faces the back of the surrounding buildings but we figured the view is likely to be due to the different sizes of the room. The hotel escape floor plan showed the rooms were different sizes on the same floor. Hotel was an easy walk from the Bern Station. Many historic sites are within 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The Saturday market was next to the hotel. A very pleasant stay and would stay again. "

"First visit to Switzerland. Absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t fault anything. Stayed in the duplex style room, amazing view overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. A very peaceful location being so high up. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate in visiting again and staying here. Breakfast was included, good selection, including tea for us brits. 10/10 👍 (one negative, no tv in the upper room of the duplexes) "

"This mountain property was fun to visit. It was a few minutes drive outside of Interlaken. We were welcomed by the property manager and personally shown all the amenities. The view from the property overlooking the valley was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread was great. "
