I would highly recommend this hotel. The views of the snow topped mountains are amazing. Staff was great and the breakfast was perfect. We would stay here again on a future visit.

The view from our room is beautiful, but you better have car to go the hotel. Parking is 3CHF/day. Breakfast is okay. The room already renovated. Self check-in, the key already in an envelope with your name. Very easy.

We were only in Switzerland for a couple of days as part of a larger trip but the Hotel Bären was ideally located to explore the Interlaken region and for hiking around Kandersteg. The views from our room were stunning and the area was quiet and relaxing. It is preferable to have a car when visiting as the hotel is 15 minutes or so up a relatively twisty road. The staff were friendly, check in/out was straightforward and the breakfast was really good!

This hotel is amazing. The village is quiet. The views are stunning and the room decoration is fabulous. Also Bogdan is doing a great job in the kitchen. Tip: book a room with a jacuzzi at the deck.

Very quaint Swiss hotel! We loved it!! The breakfast was incredible and the view breathtaking. The bed was also very comfortable. We thought there was going to be a hot tub and self-service laundry but there wasn’t.

Email regarding my booking indicated check-in time 2pm, told to come back as this was wrong, 3pm and collect envelope with our name on it & key inside from front counter. Difficult to find anyone to ask any questions regarding parking etc. Had hot water for shower at night but cold by morning, maybe due to number of guests having used hot water before us. Would have liked better pillows. Breakfast was pleasant and sufficient.
