"The apartments are gated providing a layer of security which was appreciated. Upon arrival when using the showers it was apparent they haven’t been cleaned in some time and the towels were dirty, refolded, and still wet. Not like the pictures."

"Room was clean. I liked the kitchen area. We were able to cook our own food. Nice touch having a microwave, fridge/freezer The shower invigorating due to good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. Ideal after our 11 hour journey. I would highly recommend. NB it would be great if the accommodation would warn the prospective guest to have a refundable cash of 200 Rand ready upon check-in. "

"It was an excellent place to stay. The bed was warm and comfortable. All the amenities included an A/C, heater, safe, etc. Incredible South African hospitality. Great breakfast in the morning with incredible tasting Omelette made to your preference. The property is nice, with a beautiful garden. Did I mention the great hospitality? They are the best host of people. Cudos to the Owner, Chris, and the manager, Allison. My stay at Highgrove made the trip to South Africa more enjoyable. "
